Our Estate Planning Practice

We work one-on-one with every estate planning client, developing customized strategies to address any issues, maintain your assets during your lifetime, and to govern the distribution of your assets upon death. We start the process by gathering as much information as we can about your financial situation, as well as your goals. We will carefully explain the different tools available to help you accomplish your objectives, looking at the tax consequences of each. 

Once you have determined the direction you wish to take, we will prepare and execute the specific documents necessary to put your plan in place, including:

Our Probate Practice

We work with personal representatives of estates, as well as heirs, helping you take the steps necessary to settle the estate of a loved one in the probate court. We handle all matters related to the probate process, including:

• Preparing and submitting an accounting of the assets of the estate
• Obtaining valuations of property, when necessary
• Ensuring payment of all final debts and taxes of the estate
• Overseeing the orderly distribution of property in accordance with the terms
  of the will

We also assist clients in establishing trusts and provide trust administration services. If a dispute arises during probate administration, such as a will contest or claims of undue influence, we will represent you in any litigation to resolve the matter.
